The pastors who where part of the Installation service said the following scripture passages over Pastor Schultz …

President Gilbert – Jeremiah 1:6-8
”Ah, Sovereign LORD,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am only a child” But the LORD said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am only a child.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you.

Pastor Dan Behmlander, Rock Falls – I Peter 5:5-6
Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, cloth yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand that he may lift you up in due time.

Pastor Terry Theiss, Pecatonica & Pastor Willis Schwichtemberg, Immanuel Freeport - Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Pastor Mike Winkelman, Morrison – I Chronicles 28:20
”Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished.”

Pastor Stephen Precht, Redeemer Freeport – 2 Thes 2:16-17
May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.

*** CLOSING HYMN LSB # 922 “Go, My Children”
(Verses 1, 2, 4)

Go, My children, with My blessing, Never alone.
Waking, sleeping, I am with you; You are my own.
In My love’s baptismal river
I have made you Mine forever.
Go, My children, with My blessing—You are My own.

    Go, My children, sins forgiven, At peace and pure.

Here you learned how much I love you, What I can cure.

Here you heard My dear Son’s story;

Here you touched Him, saw His glory.

Go, My children, sins forgiven, At peace and pure.

       I the Lord will bless and keep you And give you peace;

I the Lord will smile upon you And give you peace:

I the Lord will be your Father,

Savior, Comforter, and Brother.

Go, My children; I will keep you And give you peace.
