Willis R Schwichtenberg has served as pastor at Immanuel since October, 1982. He was born in Morristown, MN, graduated from Waterville-Elysian High School in Minnesota and Mankato State College (now Mankato State University) in Mankato, MN.

Theological Seminary, Springfield, IL (now in Ft. Wayne, IN) and Covington Theological Seminary in Rossville, GA with a D.Min. He enjoys drama, creative writing and reading. He has had more that 100 articles published in various newspapers and magazines. He and his wife, Alice, are parents of four adult children, who all graduated from ILS, and three grandchildren.

Richard Olin (Ros) Schultz has served as associate pastor at Immanuel since August, 2008. He was born and raised in Pensacola, FL. He attended Concordia University Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI.He graduated from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO. Rev. Schultz is also a Chaplain with the United States Army Reserves. He and his wife, Jessica, have two dogs, Riley and Rayner.  

Mrs. Diane Dietmeier graduated from Elizabeth High School, attended Highland Community College and Illinois State University. After graduation, she did graduate work in Salzburg, Austria. Mrs. Dietmeier has taught music in the Dixon schools, Forrestville Valley School District, Highland Community College and Immanuel where she has been on the staff since1987.

She and her husband, Eric, have two children, Lane, who works in Chicago and Taylor who is attending college in North Carolina.

Over the past 15 years we have had twelve vicars or student pastors serving in the congregation.  The congregation is currently without a vicar, however we continue to look at the ministry of having a vicar serve in our midst once again

Mrs. Judy Stanton, has been secretary for both the church and school since October, 1978. She was born and raised in central Illinois and attended St. John’s Lutheran School, Buckley, IL for her elementary education. After high school, she attended Lakeview School of Nursing in Danville, IL and is a registered nurse.

Mrs. Stanton attended Highland Community College and graduated with a degree in Human Social Services. She and her husband, Keith, have three children, Kathy, Susette & Derek. They all attended and graduated from Immanuel Lutheran School. Mrs. Stanton enjoys reading, knitting, working on genealogy and scrap booking.

Mrs. Marlene King joined the Immanuel staff in 2005 and works primarily in the church office. She was born in Bottineau, ND (near the Canadian border). When she was 6 years old, her mother died and she moved to Orangeville, IL where she was raised by her sister. Mrs. King had three sons, two are deceased.

Son, Brad and his wife Brenda, live in the Freeport area. Mrs. King worked as a realtor, traveled for years as an advertising sales person for Lutheran Digest and worked at book publishing company. She is a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church.

Mrs. Myra Mullen joined the Immanuel staff as the accountant in 2008. She has a BS in Business Administration from Columbia College, Columbia, MI. She and her husband, Chris, have three children, Naomi, Lily and Phineas.
